SUBSTITUTE STAFF:

Hudson Milestones is looking for several part-time substitute staff for several programs throughout the agency. Substitute staff responsible for the direct care of clients with developmental disabilities ranging in infant/toddler ages to adults. Flexible hours; early morning, afternoon and evening shifts available in Jersey City, Bayonne and Kearny sites. $7.60/hr. Paid training provided. High School Diploma or GED required. ADULT ACTIVITES

Adult Activities General Information:

IHP/SRP COORDINATOR:

Hudson Milestones, a non-profit agency serving people with developmental disabilities, is seeking a person with a bachelor's degree/master's preferred in social work, Special Education or related area with a minimum of 2 years experience working with people with developmental disabilities and minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Superior verbal and writing skills along with computer research skills and valid NJ driver's license are required. Responsibilities for the position include the development and monitoring of IHPs for Adult Training Center participants and coordinating the Saturday Recreation Program supervising staff for 30 clients. 40 hrs/wk. Day program position working with adults with developmental disabilities at our Jersey City and Bayonne locations. Assist adults in developing daily living skills and work skills. Candidates must possess valid NJ Drivers license and have minimum high school diploma. Experience with developmental disabilities preferred. 37.5hrs/week; $9.62 to start. DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL SUBSTITUTE/ON CALL:

There are currently day program substitute or on call positions working with adults with developmental disabilities in our Adult Training Centers. The responsibilities include assisting adults in developing daily living skills and increasing their work skills. Candidates must have at minimum a high school diploma. Experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities is a plus. DRIVER'S LICENSE NOT REQUIRED. Salary $7.60 per hour. Hours are 9am-5pm at the Jersey City ATC or 8am to 4pm at the Bayonne ATC. CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM AIDE:

Position available working in a small after school program in Bayonne serving children with special needs. Exp. with population a must. PT position, M-F, 3-6pm based on the Bayonne school calendar at $11/hr. EOE “V/W/D encour. to apply.”

RECREATION PROGRAM AIDE:

The Saturday Recreation Program is looking for additional Recreation Program Aides to supervise community-based outings for teens & adults with developmental disabilities. The salary is a per diem rate of $125/per session and the session hours are 9am-5pm on Saturdays only. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and also a valid NJ Driver's License. RESPITE PROVIDER:

Responsible males or females needed to provide people with developmental disabilities with one to one care in their homes. Qualified applicants must be in good, physical health and have verifiable references. Experience working with DD population preferred or similar population. These P/T positions (avg. 5-10hrs weekly) start at $10.10 per hour and include travel stipend w/ paid training. Hours are flexible. Services are provided throughout Hudson County, NJ locations. HEAD TEACHER (for Day Care):

Assist in the operation of a 48 child developmental day care program in Jersey City for toddlers with special needs. Mentor and supervise group teachers/aides. Write lesson plans, IEPs, progress notes, etc.. Assist with some admin. duties. Must have BA in child related field and one year classroom experience. Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-4:30pm. Salary 40K. RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR FULL-TIME/PART-TIME:

Group homes throughout Hudson County have positions available for responsible individuals who will assist adults with developmental disabilities in their activities of daily living, implement training programs and maintain a safe environment. A variety of positions available, including afternoon through evening, overnights and weekends. Salary for full-time positions (30-40 hrs./wk) $9.45/hr.; salary for part-time positions (29 hrs./wk or less) $9.15/hr; vacation, sick and personal time. Training provided.
