ADULT ACTIVITIES

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL:

Day program positions available working with adults with developmental disabilities at our Bayonne Adult Training Center. Job duties include assisting adults in developing daily living skills and increasing their work skills. Part time position available (9am to 2:00) - $9.60 hr. Candidates must possess valid NJ Drivers license and have minimum high school diploma. Experience with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Also, Substitute positions available at the Jersey City and Bayonne Adult Training Centers working with adults with developmental disabilities. Job duties include assisting adults in developing daily living skills and increasing their work skills. $8.00/hr.

CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES

CHILD CARE:

Jersey City Child Care Program is looking for a cook to prepare daily nutritional meals for approximately 48 children. Responsibilities include creating and monitoring weekly food menus, preparing food orders and ensuring compliance with local health regulations. High School Diploma or GED and min. 1 year professional experience in food prep required, prof. training and/or course work in food/nutrition preferred. P/T - $10.50/hr. M-F, 8:00am-2:30pm. RESPITE PROVIDER:

Responsible individuals needed to provide people with developmental disabilities with one to one care in their homes. DIRECTOR OF RESIDENTIAL SERVICES:

Director of Residential Services needed to run a DD residential program with 10 group homes and 50 clients. Must have Bachelor's Degree in a related field, a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in community residential programs with at least 1 year administrative experience, excellent communication skills, ability to implement quality assurance program, develop IHPs create & maintain budgets, audit group home programs, supervise 150 staff on day/night shifts, monitor the medical needs of clients, 24 hour on-call responsibility, able to manage database operation, strong computer skills required.
